Why Our Courses Stand Out

Practical training that connects theory with real-world application.

Sustainable Material Expertise

Learn the properties, sourcing, and applications of eco-certified materials. We cover bamboo, cork, reclaimed wood, and organic fabrics in depth.

Design Principles for Small Spaces

Sai Kung homes are often compact. We teach space-maximizing techniques, color psychology, and functional layouts that work in tight quarters.

Hands-On Studio Sessions

We don’t just lecture. You’ll work with real materials, test finishes, and create mood boards in our studio. Mistakes happen here, not on client projects.

Low-VOC and Non-Toxic Finishes

Understand paint chemistry, sealants, and adhesives that don’t release harmful chemicals. Your clients will notice the air quality difference.

Build Your Foundation

Color Theory and Psychology

How colors affect mood and perception. We’ll explore palettes that work for different room types and client preferences.

Sourcing Sustainable Products

Where to find quality eco-friendly furniture and materials. We’ll share our supplier network and teach you how to verify certifications.

Budget Planning and Client Communication

How to create realistic timelines and budgets. Honest conversations with clients about sustainable options prevent misunderstandings.

Our Manifesto

We believe sustainable interior design isn’t a trend — it’s a responsibility. Every material choice has environmental impact, and designers have power to shape that impact positively.

We don’t sell solutions. We teach thinking. Our students learn to ask the right questions: Where did this material come from? How long will it last? What happens when it’s no longer needed? Can we do this better?

Sustainability shouldn’t mean compromise on beauty, functionality, or budget. We prove every day that thoughtful design creates spaces people love living in — spaces that are healthier, more durable, and kinder to the planet.

Sai Kung is home. We’re invested in this community and the designers shaping its future. That’s why we’re here, teaching, learning, and pushing the boundaries of what sustainable design can be.
